I am a visual artist from Cape Town, South Africa. Currently, I am studying towards my Bachelor in Visual Arts at the University of South Africa
I was born in 1958 and matriculated in 1976. In 1977, I started studying commercial art at the Natal Technical College, but due to personal circumstances, I could not finish the course.
I received a diploma in Hairdressing at the Tygerberg Technical College in 1983 and attended a Precision Cutting Course at Vidal Sassoon, London. I bought a salon in 1984 and have been a full time stylist ever since.
Being a single and committed mother, I enrolled at the University of South Africa to study towards my Bachelor in Visual Arts after my youngest son matriculated in 2012. I was 54.
